We shear our own animals, so have fleeces available year ’round.

Ronan Country Fibers is a direct producer of fine, high quality Mohair and Gotland Wool. Our breeding objective is to produce the finest fiber possible on healthy, robust, well conformed and happy animals.

We primarily sell fiber raw but occasionally can wash fiber for you. Carol dyes mohair when she has time. Above are some of samples. Dyed mohair is skirted and washed before it is dyed. It is also left in the lock unless you order it picked or carded. Dye lots can vary from batch to batch so be sure to order enough fiber to complete your project.

If you are in the area, give us a call and stop by to pick out your fiber directly from the bag or off the animal.

Mohair may be available washed (add $10 per pound), dyed (add another $10 a pound) or picked (add $10 a pound). We are always happy to help new people learn to wash and dye their own fiber.

We accept PayPal but please do not send us payment until you have contacted us and we confirm your order. Orders paid by PayPal will be charged the PayPal fee which is approximately 4%.

Fleeces are sold raw (unwashed) and lightly skirted. Prices indicate the per pound price but they are sold by the full fleece. A full fleece is the fiber shorn from one animal.

Colors generally available are white, blond/cream, oatmeal/taupe, light reddish brown, silver, pewter, charcoal and black.

*We seldom have adult quality mohair in stock. Our goats are bred to retain fine fleeces into adulthood.

Gotland Wool
Colors generally available are cream/white, shades of Gotland grey ranging from light silver, medium grey & dark pewter grey.
