Ronan Country Fibers is a direct producer of fine, high quality mohair, Shetland and Gotland wool.
Our breeding objectives are to produce the finest fiber possible on healthy, robust and well conformed and happy animals.
We primarily sell fiber raw but occasionally can wash fiber for you. Carol dyes mohair when she has time. Above are some of samples.
Our washed mohair is left in the lock unless other arrangements are made. Dyed mohair is skirted and washed before it is dyed. It
is also left in the lock unless you order it picked or carded. Dye lots can vary from batch to batch so be sure to order enough fiber
to complete you project.
Single lot sizes vary but Carol does take special orders when she has time. If you
need a specific color or grade of fiber phone or e-mail to check the availability. If you are in the area, give us a call and stop
by to pick out your fiber directly from the bag or off the animal.
Mohair may be available washed (add $10 per pound), dyed (add
$10 a pound) or picked (add $10 a pound). We are always happy to help new people learn to wash and dye their own fiber.
